Media Relations for the international company, Ringz & Partners Entertainment based out of Morocco. Clients for Ringz & Partners, include the RZA, Cilvaringz, Focus, Salah Edin and others – including other various Wu-Tang members.  Ringz & Partners Entertainment proudly holds the record for the largest tour (The RZA/Cilvaringz Tour) in the history of hip-hop, with over 37 countries.

Ringz & Partners Entertainment helped make Jonathan the publicist he is today.  RZA was quoted as saying the following about their company Ringz & Partners Entertainment:

We’ve Gone Country

It’s official, Jonathan Hay Publicity has gone country.

But come to think of it, having grown up in Kentucky, hasn’t Jonathan Hay always been a little bit country? If you ask him, he’ll wholeheartedly deny it till he’s [bluegrass] in the face, countering with the argument that he “technically grew up in Louisville, which is one of the biggest cities in the U.S.” But it’s true that before the big-time, fast life of multi-media publicity, Jonathan Hay was a Kentucky boy.

So here we are re-visiting our roots with a country music project that will blow your mind like tumbleweed in the wind, through the southern porches and backyards, past your pa’s Ford truck and yonder. (Okay, so we’re not so great at the southern wordplay).

Country music is a huge industry, so why wouldn’t we be here?  Watch out Music Row, we are coming.

So what is this country music project anyway you ask?  I’ll tell you one thing, it’s from the Jesse James (the real Jesse James) family tree.   

Stay tuned…it’s a beautiful thing.

P.S. We got a Grammy producer in the studio as we speak making hit records…yep, we gone country!

This film will give the viewer an insightful look at the life and career of Big Pun.  This movie is being released Sept 15th 2009, through Vivendi/Universal – - accompanied with a CD release of music inspired by the film, “The Legacy: The Best of Big Pun” though Loud/Columbia/Legacy, which is also being released the same day.

Jonathan Hay Publicity is working with Jermaine Crawford from HBO’s critically acclaimed hit TV series, The Wire.

Jermaine Crawford is currently filming a part in the upcoming Joel Schumacher major motion picture, Twelve, where he joins an all-star cast, including: Kiefer Sutherland, 50 Cent, Ellen Barkin, Emma Roberts and Chace Crawford (Gossip Girls).

Jermaine Crawford is also appearing alongside Bow Wow in an upcoming movie with Tasha Smith (from Tyler Perry’s: Daddy’s Little Girls and Why Did I Get Married) for her directorial debut . We’ll be sure to keep you updated as these movies start making their way to theaters.

Publicist, Jonathan Hay has been working with multi-platinum producer, Focus… from Aftermath Entertainment for the last 4 years or so, when he was first introduced through Ringz & Partners Entertainment, for some of his overseas representation.

In 2008, Focus personally reached out to Jonathan Hay, for him to start a publicity campaign in the USA for his “Focus… Presents: Dedicated” free album release. Focus gave Jonathan the exclusive to the first single, “Shine” that featured both Busta Rhymes and Bishop Lamont.

Multi-Platinum manager, Gary Meeks and Jonathan Hay have formed a new music company, which is currently in the developing stages.  DMG will be working exclusively with Hoopla Media Group LLC/LRT/Universal Music Group. 

This refreshing new entertainment firm will go against the grain of all the other traditional establishments, which is what makes it Distinct.  Distinct Music Group will be officially launching to the public in the Fall of 2009.
