Jonathan Hay is featured in The New York Times. Here is an excerpt from the story:
The Huffington Post polled three publicity experts, and while one thinks that Griffin will be able to rebound over a period of time, another believes her career is indeed over. “From a PR perspective, she did do the right thing, by apologizing … but still that isn’t enough. Not even close,” celebrity publicist Jonathan Hay said in an email to HuffPost.
All three experts believe that Griffin’s press conference came across as self-serving and unnecessary, considering that at the time of the event, the news cycle had already started to move past the scandal. Or as Hay put it, the conference was “flat-out gross.”
